I’m sad that James and Lily never got to give Harry dating advice when he was crushing on Ginny because James would profess himself an expert in ‘The Art of Seduction’ and talk Harry through the James-Potter-Twelve-Step-Fail-Safe-Guide-To-Wooing-The-Redhead-Of-Your-Choice and it would be really longwinded and in depth and cover everything from styling your hair properly to delivering compliments to kissing techniques
and Lily’s advice would just be ‘do the exact opposite of whatever your father tells you’
